Free vs Prepaid
Published by steve March 30th, 2004 in UncategorizedThe following is my comment from a review of a fellow’s prototype Web site.
I would replace the word “Free” (e.g. Free medicine, Free doctor visits,
…) with something like Prepaid.
The visits and medicine isn’t free, you are trying to get the target
audience of this ad to pay for it.
And, at least in this country, “free” health care (i.e. government
provided health service) is associated with long, frustrating waits for
minimal service. You are trying to sell prepaid access to efficient,
quality health care.
